Another Star 2 - The Foggy Mountains

An early "dungeon" in Another Star 2. Like the original game, Another Star 2's dungeons are meant to be non-linear, with more to do and explore than just seek out treasure and end-bosses. Here two of the game's characters have chanced upon a radio tower which may or may not actually have anything to do with the plot. It just seemed like a cool thing to throw in that fit the vibe of the story outline and the world of the game. Honestly, this is probably going to be one of the more difficult designs to translate to the game's pixel art style, since I can't use multi-layer effects to simulate fog and depth like SNES games would do.

Concept Art for Another Star 2. This is probably my favorite of the four big concept art pieces I've done for the game thus far.
